Welcome to Our New Site

The summer of 2009 found the WATI Network busy at work.

- Finalized updates and edits to the revised ASNAT manual ( see posted on free download tab). Presentation on Creating Communication Environments (CCE) by Judi Cumley on work done in collaboration with Mary Wirkus, of Western Technical College.
- Ongoing monthly planning with AT Across the Lifespan Committee.
- Blog Radio interview on June 29
- SMART Board Certified Trainers training in Minneapolis July 13-17. Shelly Weingarten, CESA #1; Lilly Rider, CESA #4; Marcia Obukowicz, CESA # 9; Kim Swenson, CESA #11; Laura Comer, CESA # 12 and Jill Gierach, CESA #2 were trained alongside several CESA IT consultants as Smart Board Certified Instructors.
- PODD (Pragmatic Organization of Dynamic Display) Learning on the lake. July 27 – 31 George Williams College. Shelly Weingarten, CESA #1; Judi Cumley, CESA #5 and Jill Gierach, CESA #2 were trained by Linda Burkhart and Gayle Porter to be PODD partner facilitators.
- Texthelp Read&Write Gold vrs.9 Certified Trainers training in Turtle Lake on August 5 by Jennifer Ray and Paul Brown of Texthelp. Cindy Nankee, Shelly Weingarten,CESA #1; Judi Cumley,CESA#5; Kim Swenson,CESA 11; Pam Wallenfang, Madison Public Schools; and Jill Gierach, CESA #2 all went through the certification program.
